The Netnibble NIC is a central access point to the various worldwide domain name registries that Netnibble deals with, and is provided for our customers to choose, register and manage their domain(s).
WhoIS - Our WhoIS tool is connected to almost all the top-level and national registries, allowing you to check the availability of particular domain names before registering them.
Once you have chosen the domain name that you would like you can then choose from our various registration systems to obtain the best pricing - You should also keep in mind that each registration portal operates in a different currency, so you should factor in any bank conversion or commission charges before deciding which is the most economical registration gateway.
The Registration Portals
Directi - With over a million domain names currently registered through the Directi platform, this is the default registry connected to our automatic hosting order process, so if you wish to use this gateway you can simply register your domain and order your hosting package in one simple process.
Directi handle the registrations of many popular domain TLDs - Visit our Customer Services web site for a full list and pricing. We are also offering free privacy protection on a number of TLDs - up to a $20 saving against some other registries.
EuroDNS/AsiaDNS - EuroDNS handle registrations for individual European country TLDs, and AsiaDNS perform the same function for the Asian region. They are also able to register top level domains, like .COM, .ORG, .NET, etc, but you should compare pricing with our other gateways before registering these. We use a single interface to access all TLDs available from this joint-registrar. Prices are in Euros. (Note: Prices are subject to European VAT where applicable, dependent on your country of residence or business.)
